These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the web apps (traveler / admin), LINE / WhatsApp bots, and related services (collectively, the "Service") provided by GuideBloom ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Service description
The Service is an experiential English-learning platform / program that combines urban exploration with language learning. Users (travelers and guide candidates) can browse Spot information, practice Focus Sentences, receive AI-powered feedback, and connect with guides.
3. Account & eligibility
The Service is intended for users aged 13 and above. Users under 13 must use it with parental consent.
Some features are available with Anonymous Auth. Other features may require email or social account linking in the future.
You are responsible for keeping your account information accurate and up to date.
4. Prohibited conduct
When using the Service, you must not:
violate any law or public order and morals
infringe third-party rights (copyright, likeness, privacy, etc.)
post false information or intentionally manipulate AI for deceitful purposes
interfere with operation (DDoS, scraping, mass automated access, bots, etc.)
reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service
copy, redistribute, or commercially exploit Service content without authorization
harass, harm, or otherwise disturb other users
send malware or spam
5. User-generated content
For audio, photos, comments, and other content you upload to the Service ("User Content"):
Copyright in User Content remains with you.
You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use User Content for service operation, improvement, AI analysis, and as anonymous aggregate data.
Use of User Content as identifiable marketing material requires separate written consent (see "Consent for Use of Video / Image / Name").
You are responsible for ensuring that your User Content does not infringe any third-party rights.
6. AI-generated content
Spot information (story, focus sentence, etc.), AI analysis results, and feedback in the Service are generated with AI assistance (Vertex AI Gemini and similar).
We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of AI output. Please verify important information against the official sources of each facility.
If you find clear errors in AI output, please contact us via the channels at the bottom of this page.
7. Intellectual property
Intellectual property rights in Service content (Spot information, UI, logos, documentation, etc.) belong to us or rightful third-party owners.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or commercially exploit Service content without our prior consent.
"GuideBloom" name and logo are trademarks used by us.
Image credits
Many of the spot images in the Service come from Wikimedia Commons and similar open-license sources (Creative Commons BY / BY-SA / Public Domain, etc.). Each image's author, license, and source URL is shown as a "Photo:" caption on the spot detail screen, and the full list is available on the image credits page.
If you are a rights holder and need an image removed or corrected, please contact us via the channels at the bottom of this page. We will respond promptly.
8. Guides and travelers
The Service provides a platform for guides and travelers to meet and interact.
Any contractual relationship between guides and travelers is a direct contract between the parties; we are not a party to that contract.
We are not responsible for accidents, troubles, or disputes arising during guide tours or events.
Guides are themselves responsible for the content, quality, and safety of the services they provide.
9. Disclaimer
Except where prohibited by law, we make no warranties (merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, etc.) regarding the Service.
We are not responsible for damages caused by interruption, suspension, termination, data loss, third-party access, third-party service failure, or similar events.
We are not responsible for actions you take based on information obtained through the Service.
10. Limitation of liability
If we are liable for damages caused by reasons attributable to us, our liability is limited to the amount you have paid to us in the past 12 months. If the Service is provided to you free of charge, our liability is limited to non-monetary remedies (account restoration, content recovery, etc.).
11. Service changes & termination
We may, with or without prior notice, change the content of the Service, add or remove features, modify usage terms, or terminate the Service. We are not liable for any damage caused thereby.
12. Account suspension & deletion
We may suspend or delete your account, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms or where we otherwise consider it necessary.
13. Personal information
Handling of personal information in the Service is governed by our separate Privacy Policy.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may amend these Terms as needed. Material changes will be announced on this page and take effect when posted.
15. User-generated content (UGC)
The Service's Activity features (photo / comment posts on Spot pages, Tried it! logs, etc.) make user-submitted content publicly visible on the Service, viewable by all visitors.
You are solely responsible for any content you post — including obtaining consent of any third parties depicted, securing rights for third-party copyrighted works, protecting likeness and privacy, and ensuring legal compliance of expression. We assume no liability for user-submitted content.
We reserve the right to remove any content we determine, in our sole discretion, to violate these Terms, applicable law, or public morals — without prior notice.
If you encounter inappropriate content, please notify us via the "⋯ → Report" menu on each post card. We aim to review and respond within 24-48 hours.

16. Governing law & jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute arising out of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
